The new Grand Luxxe in Nuevo Vallarta is a new experience in service and luxury. The pictures can’t begin to capture the size and quality of these units. Even the pool areas come with an amazing level of service. The Grand Luxxe seems to be a bit more for adults than the other Mayan resorts. It still has a kids club and great kids accommodations but there are more adults and fewer kids than the other Mayan Resorts.

As of January 2011, there are currently two towers built, 2 more half built and a reported 3 more coming. Sorry, I didn’t get a picture of the elegant new upscale Mexican cuisine restaurant called Epazote. It is our favorite of the 8 or 9 restarants on the entire resort. The lobby in building one is massive and goes up in the middle of the building to the top floor. Unfortunately, impossible to capture with a photo.
