The Mayan Palace Riviera Maya is for those that want a first class resort, but prefer to spend a little less on accommodations and have more for food and activities. The pool area is one of the most spectacular in Latin America. You will have owner access to the same excellent restaurants and spa.

The Riviera Maya Mayan Resort is on Mexico's Yucatan peninsula about 20 miles south of the Cancun airport. The resort has a Mayan Palace area and a Grand Mayan area. This resort has 5 very good restaurants on site from moderately priced to the top of the line Tramanto Italian restaurant that is a bit pricier. None of them are exorbitant. An asian resttaurat is the newest addtion. If you rent from us, you are a guest of an owner, so you have free access to their top of the line fitness facility. Massages and other treatments are, of course, extra charge.

The very large, beautiful pool area overlooking the Caribbean, that you usually see in the pictures is shared by both Mayan Palace and Grand Mayan. There is a separate Grand Mayan pool area with some nice "nooks and crannies" of seating areas. This area is accessible only to Grand Mayan guests.

The resort provides shuttle service to the fun Mexican resort town of Playa del Carmen throughout the day for $3.50 each way per person. The Riviera Maya Mayan resort is the perfect base for visits to the Mayan ruins, snorkelling trips, and cave explorations with companies like Alltournative Tours and Yucatreks.
