Many people choose to spend time floating on the never ending Lazy River that winds through the Grand Mayan Nuevo Vallarta waterpark.
You should know however that every 1/2 hour or so, a certain section gets stirred up by a wave machine. Just to keep life from
getting dull we guess. If you want a real wave experience, there are two wave pools out near the beach. One odd thing about the Nuevo Vallarta
Resort is that they charge you for the tubes to float the river. Don't worry, It's only $3.00 or so. There are 2 sizes of tube. Only the
little yellow ones fit on the big water slide on the Mayan Pyramid.
