The Mazatlan Mayan Palace are the new design Mayan Palace Regency. They are more spacious and updated from the rest of the Mayan Palace suites around Mexico. The resort is 15 to 20 minutes from the bustling city of Mazatlan. This is probably the most "Mexican" of all the Mayan Resort areas. It is right across the Sea of Cortes from Cabo, so it shares Cabo's excellent deep sea fishing opportunities

. If you are a bit tired of the main stream tourist destinations, Mayan Resorts Mazatlan may be just the place. There are also Sea Garden suites that are two bedroom / one bath units. Be aware, the second bedroom is quite small. Mayan frequently runs specials on Sea Garden Mazatlan, so ask if special rates are available.

While Mazatlan Mayan Palace features a beautiful golden beach and many amenities, there is no golf course on site. It is about 20 miles to the nearest golf course, so if golf is your passion, consider any of the other Mayan locations with world class golf onsite.
