The Grand Luxxe Experience
From the minute you arrive in the airport, you know this is going to be a different experience. The transportation guy guides to a small lounge, offers you a bottle of water and a cool wash cloth while they load your luggage in a taxi for you complimentary ride to the resort. You think "I could get used to this."
Check-In
At check in you are invited to sit in big plush chairs for a leisurely check in. You are offered a welcome beverage. A margarita seems most appropriate, but there are other choices as well. The check in process is casual and comfortable. When you arrive to the floor, your dedicated floor concierge (for just eight units) shows you through your unit and explains the amenities and asks what time you would like your complimentary coffee in the morning.
The Living Space
Your two bedroom suite is simply enormous and beautifully appointed with flat screen tvs in each room, multiple shower heads, soaking tub and all the requirements for cooking. A lightly heated cooling pool enhances the beautiful hardwood deck with a view of the river, the ocean, Puerto Vallarta and the mountains (OK, not everyone gets this view)
Extras
Various board games and blu-ray players with rental movies are available from the concierge. If you are a Mayan Resort veteran, you will notice some differences immediately when you head down to the Grand Luxxe pool area. First no towel cards, just towels available everywhere. Then there are the activities people who come up and clean your sunglasses or offer you a small popsicle when they are not busy with activities.

Although it is sometimes possible to rent a Luxxe unit without the additional benefits, most Luxxe 2 bedroom rentals come also with:
- 16 rounds of free golf with a cart
- 2 massages
- free internet
Where is the Grand Luxxe?
The Nuevo Vallarta Luxxe towers are at the south end of the beautiful Mayan Resort. One tower is on the point where the river enters the Bay of Banderas. The rest of them are spread along the river with wildlife everywhere.
What's the Catch?
The only catch is that availability is currently somewhat limited due to the popularity. Please plan as far ahead as possible.
