This newest of the Mayan Resorts is right on the beach in San Jose del Cabo at the end of the famous Los Cabos corridor.   The pool area is the same Mayan high quality as the other resorts and culminates in an infinity pool, that appears to extend right into the Sea of Cortes.   The resort is much smaller than the ones in Riviera Maya and Nuevo Vallarta, creating a more intimate feel. One big design improvement is that every unit faces the pool area/ocean.  There are fewer restaurants on site, but don't worry, the fabulous breakfast and dinner buffets are still available as well as the usual delicious pool area eating opportunities.  The nice thing, is that there a many excellent restaurants available in the increasingly gentrified area of San Jose del Cabo.  We have personally sampled a few and are confident you will be pleased. 

The down side to the smaller size, is that it does fill up quickly.  Often, we need to book just over 6 months in advance to be sure of getting the week you want.  If you can plan even farther ahead, we do have owners with privileges to book up to a year in advance.

We have packed the links at the top with information about the resort.  Check out the non-stop sunshine / almost no rain weather report.  In addition to sunshine, Cabo is also famous for Golf and Deep Sea fishing. The boats leave right out of the marina at San Jose del Cabo, which is little more than a stone's throw from the resort.
